Before diving into the insurance world, my journey began in the meticulous and fascinating realm of professional brewing. Armed with a degree in Food Science and Technology from Oregon State University, complemented by minors in Business and Chemistry, I developed a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for the intricate processes that lead to quality results. These skills and insights seamlessly transitioned into my role in insurance, where I craft tailored solutions that match the distinctive needs of individuals and businesses alike.

At the core of my life and work are my values: Integrity and humility. These principles shape every interaction and decision I make, ensuring that my advice as your insurance advisor isn’t just professional but profoundly personal and honest.

You ask what I love about insurance the most. It’s gotta be helping people! I love helping people understand their policies, and I love it! Insurance can be very technical, but a customer’s coverage can be easily explained to them if we, as agents, take the time to do it. I think a lot of agencies out there assume everyone knows what they are buying, but in reality, there are a lot of folks with questions. I say this because, before insurance, I was the one with questions, and I remember having an unclear idea about how insurance worked and what my coverages truly meant. I love being in the position to help now, and it is very fulfilling when someone says, “Thank you, no one has ever explained that to me before!”

Beyond my professional endeavors, my life is full of family and faith. My wonderful wife, Ashley, and our three awesome kids, Brooks, Ila, and Gentry, make my world go round (sometimes, my kids make my world spin a little too fast, but that’s to be expected). Together with our Goldendoodle, Poppy, we love spending time together outside. Whether spring or summer camping, we love taking our trailers out for weekend adventures. There is nothing more fun than hunting for bugs and critters with the kiddos and then scaring my wife with the occasional snake. Usually, she finds them first, much to our enjoyment! Did I mention I value humor as well?? As the seasons turn to fall, you’ll find me in the woods again, hunting deer, elk, and grouse. It’s one of my favorite seasons.
